What is a CRTS Senior Move Manager?

I am CRTS trained Senior Move Manager. I have a passion for helping seniors transition to a more suitable home to continue living in a safe, comfortable manner. The services I provide help make the transition go as seamless as possible therefore keeping that feeling of “Being Overwhelmed” to a minimum.

A *CRTS is:

• A Certified Relocation & Transition Specialist is a trained professional who provides a minimum of 4 services to assist those 55+ with home transition needs.
• An advocate for the client, a resource for their family, caregivers, and housing administrators.
• A manager of space, assets, and projects.
• Is dedicated to providing necessary services and professional business referrals.
• Is guided by the CRTS Code of Conduct

These are just some of the CRTS Services:

Planning:

• In-home consultation
• Written relocation plan and timetable
• New residence floor plans
• Agent and point of contact for all services

Moving:

• Schedule, oversee, and manage the entire move
• Provide professional packing, shipping, and storage
• Manage the disposition and allocation of possessions to family, sale, charity, and disposal
• Refer, Interview, & Supervise Movers, Appraisers, Estate Sale staff and more
• Miscellaneous : utilities transfer, travel companion services, document shredding, and pet care
• Offer discounts for boxes, storage and waste removal

Move-In:

• Help with unpacking, organization and furniture placement
• Assist with barrier-free design for new residences
• Communicate address change to friends, family, and businesses

Age In Place:

• Provide organization and floor plans to help scale down the home
• Manage the disposition and allocation of possessions to family, sale, charity, and disposal
• Furniture placement and Right-Sizing
• Refer or assist with barrier-free living and universal design

Home Sale:

• Provide realtor, home appraisal and contractor referrals and supervision
• Offer or refer home staging preparation for sale
